Near Fiskardo, the village of Antipata is a beautiful mix of the old and the new. It is one of the largest settlements in the northwestern part of Kefalonia and is a rural village with wonderful views and romantic sunsets.
On its main road you can find traditional taverns and modern cafes scattered around offering local food and high quality drinks. If you are in Antipata, it would be a pity not to take at least a look at the local church of Panagia. The church is built in Russian Orthodox style in the shape of a cross with a characteristic Russian dome. It is quite imposing with unique splendor and grandeur.
Near the village you will find Dafnoudi beach, a pristine paradise beach that will leave you stunned. It is quite tedious to get there, as you will have to go through a 600 meter path through cypress trees, however, it will not disappoint you.
