Damoulianata

In the middle of Paliki cape, Damoulianata village is located next to the village of Rifi. Admire the traditional architecture as Damoulianata is one of the very few places that wasn’t destroyed by the earthquake in 1953.

The church of the Virgin Mary, erected around 1860, is an impressive sight in the village. Along with this church, you should visit the two old windmills at the highest point of the village, the trademark of Damoulianata. Above the current location of the village, there are the remains of a medieval village reminiscent of an era long passed.

You should stick around until sunset and admire the magnificent colors painting the village in an amazing color palette.
