Saint Jerusalem Beach

About 25 minutes by car from Fiskardo. Drive towards Mangano and turn right at the intersection. Follow the sign for Gravel. Continue down for about 10 minutes. You will reach an intersection. If you continue straight, you will go to Alaties beach, so turn left. Stay on the main asphalt road and follow it! It ends in the Holy City of Jerusalem.

One of the local “secrets”, the Holy City of Jerusalem is one of the few beaches that is still relatively quiet in August. There is a small and excellent tavern that provides good food in an idyllic setting, reminiscent of untouched Greece of bygone eras.

In the restaurant there is space for many caravans and freshwater showers.
Agia Jerusalem also serves as an auxiliary port and many of Fiskardo’s fishing boats prefer to move here during the summer.

Due to the strong winds there is often quite a bit of tar on this beach. However, in the high season it is a welcome escape from the crowds located on the best known beaches closer to Fiskardo.

The beach takes its name from the small ruined church that stands on the side of the beach. The crystal clear waters are home to many seahorses. The sunsets on this beach are spectacular.
