Along the east coast, between Agia Efimia and Fiskardo you can find many beaches for swimming, however, most of them are not accessible from the mainland, but only by boat.
The beach of Agia Sofia is easily accessible from the mainland by an asphalt road of 8 km that starts from the village of Komitata.
The landscape is absolutely beautiful. In the middle of the beach is an old fisherman’s house, which today is uninhabited. Do not expect a huge beach, umbrellas or any other luxuries.
It is a bay for relaxation, preferred mainly by visitors who come by boat.
